I currently work at Full Sail Real World Education as a Lab Instructor. I've been working with digital art for about 8 years now, 4 years of that professionaly. I started out with Mechanical Engineering as my focus but later shifted into art and design. I started out in 3d as a modeler but I have found more pleasure in completing shots as a Compositor. Currently I use Maya, Max, Shake, Combustion, and Photoshop for all of my VFX needs. I am available for Freelance projects large and small.
In 2003, Karl Harkness and I, were awarded 1st place in 3d Animation/Visualization the Skills USA VICA National Championships in Kansas City, MO. We competed two years in a row as a team taking other awards in the area of 3d Animation/Visualization:
1st Place :: Skills USA VICA - Central Virginia Regional Championships 2002, 2003
1st Place :: Skills USA VICA - Virginia State Championships 2002, 2003
My work displayed at siggraph in 2005 and 2006:
2005 Alias Booth (Alias Reel)
2006 Autodesk Media and Entertainment Booth (Reel)
Full Sail Real World Education Booth (Reel + Calendar)
Currently I'm developing a new website as well as developing VFX projects. My latest demo reel is scheduled for completetion in summer 2007. Did I mention I was available for freelance?
